Recruitment policies

The CCABA abides by the 40 principles set up in the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers (Charter&Code), and as such UPC was awarded the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) (https://www.euraxess.es/spain/services/human-resources-strategy-researchers-hrs4r). These recognise the human resources excellence in research by the EC for institutions that have made progress in adapting their human resources policies to the principles set out in the Charter & Code. HRS4R implies a long-term commitment that includes joint efforts and coordination with various internal and external stakeholders and it places a lot of emphasis on the need for institutions to make progress towards the principles of open, transparent, merit-based recruitment. The CCABA considers that the benefits that the Charter&Code bring to a researchers career is a cornerstone of its strategy in order to attract international talent, and researchers and supervisors are informed about it.
