CCABA follows the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers (Charter & Code), for which UPC has been awarded the HR Excellence in Research (HRS4R) recognition by the European Commission. This reflects our long-term commitment to open, transparent, and merit-based recruitment, ensuring international standards in attracting and supporting talent.

We also guarantee gender equality throughout our recruitment and research activities. The Training Committee applies gender balance measures, ensures equal opportunities for all candidates—including underrepresented groups—and gives priority, in cases of equal merit, to applicants contributing to a better gender balance.
